Pretty basic rom-com that's a combination of the 'fake dating' and 'gloomy loner guy gets with hot popular girl' tropes. Hardly great, but I found it occasionally amusing and mostly inoffensive, so might be of interest if you are into these kinds of things.

Saw that this had a rating of L25 so went into it thinking it would be a relatively easy read, but I did feel like this was noticeably harder than other mid 20's LNs like くまクマ熊ベア or 娘じゃなくて私が好きなの!?. Definitely seemed like it had a greater abundance of N2+ grammar points, a wider vocabulary and more abstract phrasings than what I've generally come to expect from purple level books. Probably made this a better learning experience than I was expecting though really, as the trope-y nature of the story and characters makes for a safe environment for encountering trickier material.
