Book 3 picks up right where the last book left off teaching more beginner grammar and vocab as well as the 1st grade kanji. It's shorter than book 2 and mainly focuses on creating more complex sentences and teaching the rest of the N5 grammar. This book was where I felt this series going too slow for the level I was at, so it was a bit hard to get through. Thankfully, the next 2 books in the series improve on this issue.
