Sweet little short film about a shy but imaginative elementary-school boy rushing to confess his crush when the girl he likes is about to move away. The story is nothing special; the love interest doesn't have much depth beyond 'nice' and 'likes birds', and I also really didn't appreciate the short going out of its way to have the main character see his love interest's underwear twice in the span of about thirty seconds. However, the art is where this short really shines, with beautiful birds and a lovely surreal action sequence at the end spliced in with reality.
Language-learning: I gave it a low rating because there isn't much speech, and aside from a couple of lines in a cafeteria scene, almost all of it is very common words. I'm pretty sure half the dialogue is simply the characters screaming each other's names.
