General (and CW): This is a pretty odd and complicated show, and it starts off on intentionally ugly footing. If you're going to give it a try, I suggest giving it 3 episodes. Also be aware there is sexual assault in the show, and some characters have zero concept of consent. A lot of people feel that show romanticizes this. I'm not sure whether I agree or not. I don't regret watching it, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it either. If you're looking for more wholesome yuri, I'd recommend something like やがて君になる、青い花、or キミノヒカリ ~あさがおと加瀬さん。~ instead.
Story: The two MCs are a ギャル delinquent and the model 生徒会長 - basically each other's exact opposites. The show relies very heavily on indirect characterization, and its two main characters are very well developed (the supporting characters range from minimally developed to not at all). The OST is utilized very well (to the point that I'd call it manipulative). There's a lot to appreciate, watching two recent step-sisters who started off on the wrong foot slowly open up to and embrace each other, and slowly work on their problems. There's also a lot to cringe at. A lot of the situations and solutions feel totally contrived, and require too much suspension of disbelief. The show is really more focused on the emotional drama and development, for better and worse.
Language: pretty straightforward. There's some casual speech and ギャル slang, and some occasional overly formal/お嬢様 type speech. For the most part though, there's nothing particularly remarkable about the language. If anything I'd say it's on the simpler side.
