This is like a more boring version of book 1, and hit way too many suspension of disbelief points for me. Somehow 2/3rds of the way through, the story is still in "will they/won't they" mode, which I'd accept if there was some sort of plausible reason or tension around it. Also in addition to Kazuha's continued "is this brocon?" behavior, the author introduced Yuika's younger sister Kanon, who is a member of Kazuha's secret online fan club for the couple (wut?), is their biggest 押し / fan (besides Kazuha), and wants to get with/steal Shuichi, and practically announces this upon meeting him with Yuika for the first time. I stopped reading at that point.
While there's plenty of really nice and cute moments between Shuichi and Yuika, the supporting characters remain bland as ever, and mostly aren't utilized for anything interesting (except Kazuha, whose perspective we get, when she's present). Despite one scene where Takahashi almost catches Yuika & Shuichi shopping together, it never feels like there's any danger of them being exposed. Also they're literally already legally married, so what's even the point in them hiding their relationship anymore?
Anyway if you just want an easy story with cute moments, and don't mind a bit of weirdness, or really care if a few things seem totally implausible, then maybe you'll like the book okay. Personally I feel like there's just so much wasted potential. I didn't hate the story, but I did feel underwhelmed by it most of the time.
