Bingeable horror comedy
I wanted to briefly read through simply an extract of the manga because it was free on cmoa, and before I noticed it, I was already done reading over 140 pages.
The chapters are short and sweet and really get you rolling. Furigana is only partially present but the vocabulary and grammar is overall rather easy. Although, I can imagine that some beginners might struggle with monsters' speech bubbles that are written in a very stylized distorted font.
It is pretty funny to see how みこ tries her absolute hardest to ignore monsters begging for her attention just in front of her, while everyone else around her can't even see the monsters in question.
However, a criticism I have that negatively impacted my enjoyment is that I feel like the author should tone down the amount of changing room and bathroom scenes and other slightly suggestive shooting angles. It degrades an otherwise interesting series.
PS: Hi, it is me from the future. I don't know if the author got a memo or something but the fan service bits are gone from later volumes, so I can recommend to bear it for two volumes, and then it gets better on that front.
