Really this is one of the 2 worst anime adaptations I've ever seen (the other one sadly being xxxHolic). If you haven't played the visual novel, you'll be completely lost. If you have, you'll be completely disappointed. I'd go into further details, but I seem to have completely blocked it out of my head, after watching it two years ago.
