I loved this manga. This is a great psychological story that examines the dysfunctional lives of various elementary schoolers. Despite the cute characters the story is very dark and touches on lots of triggering topics, so if that's not your cup of tea then stay away. Despite the extremely bleak situations of these characters I felt that these topics were portrayed in a very realistic and honest way. Some of the major takeaways of the story are that some people have problems that you can't really fix no matter how much you want to help, and that people are the products of their environments. Despite the despair the characters go through there are still touching moments that feel truly earned. The art is beautiful with an expressive, fluid style that really makes you feel the emotions of the characters. This is also getting an anime adaptation soon, which I will definitely be watching.
