my first ever native book. at first, i found it very fun and read for hours because i was so excited to read something native in japanese, but for me it quickly turned extremely boring when the charm wore off. nothing meaningful happens so i never was motivated to read and never did. but the art is super nice <3
i did learn a lot of new grammar points though, it's a perfect level for any beginner and will give confidence to anyone who gave up on よつばと. despite the boring story, while i was interested, i did learn a lot!
if you like cute anime stuff, maybe you'll actually enjoy it, but i think any beginner should try it as a first step into native books
