I can't currently grade this book because the site feature to do so is broken, but I'd still place it around 28-30 after having finished it.
I was excited to read this book after having read 殺した夫が帰ってきました and loving it, but this one just didn't have the same pull. I think I found the plot of this one a bit too convoluted, while being oddly predictable at the same time. I don't want to explain too much here as spoiler tags also aren't working, but quite a few things were guessable and that ruined a bit of the fun for me.
The vocab stretched a little into business terminology and a little into medical terminology, but the same words were repeated endlessly so I don't think that should be a problem for difficulty.
The writing itself is without too much flourish so grammar shouldn't be a major challenge.
If you just want an easy book to knock out, I don't think this is a bad choice. It's a fast read and not boring, but maybe my expectations were just a bit high after liking the author's other book so much.
