This was different than I expected.

It was pretty damn good for one. It also dealt with the whole suicide topic in a way that did not feel cringe, but also not overly stiff.

For the most part it touched on various reasons that may drive a person to suicide. I don't want to spoil what happens too much, so I'll just say that some of the internal struggle is externalized and fought against in bloody battles by magical girls. It definitely had one of the coolest transformation sequences I've ever seen. The manga even made me cry a little (a lot actually)

Not sure if it had so much impact because haven't read manga in quite a while and it isn't literally perfect so I'll play it safe and rate it 4/5.
