The initial story arc with Shippou is great. He doesn't always get enough time to shine, but when he does it's enjoyable. Also the way Inuyasha covers for him afterwards is really nice. Kagura's decision not to tell Naraku about her knewly gained knowledge of Inuyasha's weak point is definitely interesting. Miroku and Sango continue to be great as well, especially when he says おまえに心配されるのが一番嬉しい to her afterwords (tho of course he inevitably kills the mood). It's fun watching the others debate whether Sango has a thing for Miroku, to the point of spying on their moment together, as well.
I enjoyed the first and last battles in the anime more than the manga. They were fine, but the anime breathes life into them in a very impressive way.
