Thoughtful slice of life, be aware of Hakata-ben going in though

It has been a little bit since I read this and I read it rather inconsistently so this may not be the most accurate, but one small detail I think is important for being going into to be aware of – there's a decent amount of Hakata-ben/博多弁 (Hakata Dialect) throughout. If you aren't used to that (I wasn't!) I recommend searching up about it beforehand so you can recognise where it is used.

Aside from that, the language and vocabulary wasn't overly difficult, although the discussions and things were done in a way that isn't the easiest to gather from context, so it takes a bit of thinking (think, similarly to この恋を星には願わない but I found 煙たい話 more complicated). In general, I found the grammar to be harder than the vocab. The sentences aren't overly long it's just that type of vagueness of sentences combined with Hakata Dialect that can take some getting used to.

It's a thoughtful little story though, I'm looking forward to slowly reading more and getting to know the main two more. It does have quite a slice of life feel to it, so if you want to read something that feels comfortable and simple but with some interesting depth going further in, then this could be suitable.
