After watching and re-listening many times, this has grown on me so much. The music is also EXTREMELY good, and it helps elevate this anime to a level a slice of life CGDCT anime would otherwise never be able to reach. Pair this with fun characters, big developments, and some great memorable moments like the 路上ライブ and of course Bocchi's solo, and you've got yourself an anime unlike any other. The music seriously helps because the 結束バンド album was actually something I listened to a lot and it elevates the material to another level. The humor is also pretty good for an anime, made me laugh a couple of times, and high entertainment value is also here. This is the best slice of life anime I will probably ever watch. The big moments for me are what make the slice of life element hit, kind of like watching more of a cast of characters from a show you love in an extra OVA will always be enjoyable (Steins;Gate fr). Overall a very surprising 10/10, which initially sat at a solid 8 which then slowly turned into one of my favorite anime of all time, and one that feels like a modern day classic with every episode and scene just feeling like part of a perfectly crafted story that couldn't do without any of those elements.
Watched this one pretty early on so I don't remember that much, but I got through the whole show enjoying it a lot and this was around start of october so about one month in. Later on I downloaded it in audio form and re-listened and after re-listening it for fun a few more times over the months (I still have it downloaded cuz it's too good of a show to re-listen) I remember there was still a lot of moments I didn't really understand even if I thought I had gotten the whole show kinda, so probably harder than I remember. Still, it didn't feel hard and I blew past it enjoying it a LOT (which was the catalyst for me to go watch K-ON :sob:). I remember I saw a crunchyroll clip pop up of Bocchi's solo and thought wait actually looks good (I kinda knew what it was about so I thought a solo as development seemed really hype) and so decided to watch it really hype n all and MAN did it not dissapoint. My mind was pretty focused on when Bocchi would pull off the solo and show everyone how good she was so it did lead to a bit of a worse experience maybe but really nothing too noteworthy. When I got to the solo it didn't dissapoint and after that I was satisfied and kept going much more chill and enjoying the whole ride. Great anime to experience as a beginner, and a lot of rewatch value cuz even if you can follow the story I assure you there's stuff you will later on understand and think "Oh I didn't actually get that last time". 3/5
