Some really enjoyable relationship development in this. Stuff with Kouga & InuKago plays out more or less how you'd expect, tho Inuyasha loses his head in battle more than usual, and Kagome actually says Thank You afterwards. Some interesting foreshadowing and development with Kagura as well. Was surprised to see Sesshoumaru's reaction when Kagura left, both knowing that she's probably heading towards her death

The middle portion is focused on something from Miroku's past that challenges his relationship with Sango, and the final chapters contain an interesting (and odd) twist.
