I adore 少女終末旅行 and つくみず in general, so I was really looking forward to this, but ultimately it's just OK. I liked it enough to keep reading to the end, but probably not enough for a re-read, even though I know there's little mysteries and other things that would benefit from seeing them again.
In 少女終末旅行 there's touches of surreality and mystery behind a cozy and heartwarming adventure story. In this, we get the author's unconstrained surreality but, I feel, without the same depth or warmth that made 終末 so special.
