Just not a great constructed story. Ending felt rushed. I did enjoy the slice of life feel of the first 180 pages or so but the final chapters felt like the author needed to cram some drama in at the end and rushed it through. Interesting characters. Annoying use of alternate rare kanji and proportionally a lot of kango used which felt precocious (perhaps intentionally to convey the preciousness of the main character?) was a slog to read to be honest. Probably best reserved to fans of the anime movie or author (former top idol).
