A Very Relaxing Show
This is probably one of the biggest slice of life series to come out recently. Its popular enough to have multiple seasons, a movie, games and a gacha. SoL tends to be my favorite genre so I decided to finally try it out.
The show didn't live up to the hype that surrounds it but it is still an enjoyable watch. The art is very pretty and they show off a lot of different places that they camp at. The show has a very calming feel to it and all the characters have their own quirks that make them likeable.
I think my biggest issue with the show is that it feels more like a food show than a camping show at times. Almost every episode has a heavy focus on food. Food talk in anime tends to bore me so I think the show is just not for me. I still liked most episodes but I don't think I will continue past season 1.
Language wise the show is mostly standard SoL stuff with a lot of camping and food terminology thrown in. The show does a good job showing everything it is talking about. So when they are talking about how to set up a tent, the different type of sleeping bags, etc even if you don't know the words they're using you can easily follow along because of the animation.
