  • Entertainment: Like book 2, this is a direct continuation of the previous story and it is again very VERY similar. There aren't really any big external events or new characters or big revelations of any kind, instead the book focuses on further developing the relationship between the two main characters. My main complaint is the ending: It pretty much just ends with a chapter that might as well have been somewhere in the middle of the book. At the time of writing it must have been clear that there would be more books coming up, so no effort was made to give this book any kind of meaningful payoff and I can really only recommend reading book 3 if you also intend to keep reading subsequent books.

  • Language Learning: Pretty easy read true to its current series rating of 26. The author exclusively uses common words so you can mine and learn everything you see.
