Easier than I thought, but with spikes of difficulty
Komi-san is actually a bit easier than I had anticipated, especially for a 4koma, but has a few major stumbling blocks for language learners. The fact Komi has difficulty speaking with others means that often there are times when there isn't much being said. Conversely, there are also quite a few jokes that end with massive chunks of text that can take time to decode (or you can just skip). Generally speaking the manga is a bit on the wordy side, but most of the construction is not overly complex (unless it's deliberately being obtuse). Another slightly odd bonus is that most of the character names are puns, which can help with memory both for the names and the words (e.g. the main character ただの ひと人 is 'a normal guy', あがりちゃん has あがり症、 etc).
Other objections are more content-based; Komi-san has some really annoying characters early on (Agari, Yamai especially) and there's a lot of bullying of poor Tadano, so it takes a little while before the manga can really find its feet. Thankfully the art is really solid and the joke pacing frequently hilarious. I think I was helped by having read the english version over a few times and having watched the Netflix show.
