comfort show

This show is very soft and gentle and the young actors do amazing jobs at portraying their characters. I loved the simple self-contained plot about a boy that is kind of an outcast at school deciding he wants to make friends and awkwardly joining a school club and fumbling his way into being friends with the other kids. It's a very sweet traditional coming of age story, without over-the-top angst, that makes you ache a little for the characters.
