Story starts slow but all comes together in a rewarding way
This is written from the perspective of a kid so as an adult reader it's initially a bit repetitive and dry at first, but sticking around was worth it. The story starts to come together and all make sense about halfway through. I even got a bit teary at the end.
The language level is perfect for beginners with lots of repeated words that force you to pick up new vocabulary through frequent exposure.
