Here in this volume we have a collection of short stories. There is one main story called フレーム オブ マインド split by each one of the short stories. How this is technically done, especially with the decision which short story to insert at which time, is amazing. We kind of see connections between the short stories and the main story here and there.
The main story of this volume is not a continuation of the story from the last volume. Because of that I felt a bit frustrated in the beginning, because the continuation would have been the really new stuff. This means we are not entering a part of the story right after what the anime featured.
But - I am a huge fan of this volume! Some of the short stories will become my favorites and especially like the characters that made an appearance throughout this volume.
[Japanese]
As the short stories feature different settings there are some new vocabularies and also different PoVs, so you need to find out who is the one telling this story. When you are not used to this, this might be a bit difficult and coming in the way of following the story.
Apart from that the Japanese fits the other volumes of this series.
Nice short story collection!
