bought this after finishing the show
really wanted to like it but it's so dry and dense to me for some reason and felt like a slog to get through. the show added a lot that wasn't in the manga so it kinda sucks experiencing it as a downgrade. and also the manga can't play music. conversely it's probably better if you go manga > anime if you want to consume both, i just made the unfortunate decision to do the opposite
else, just watch the show if you havent already tbh, that's where the peak shines as it goes above and beyond as an anime adaptation
