A murder mystery - 3 different sets of people are either trying to find someone or uncover a mystery that are all tied to one specific apartment.
The language was quite approachable as a learner. There weren't too many characters or settings so the repetition helped solidify the new words that were popping up.
I always enjoy a book with a mystery element at this stage of learning to motivate me to keep reading so it was a good pick in that regard. The negative side is that the plot treated it's female & disabled characters kind of crappy in the stereotypical crime genre way.
