Short short stories with a twist

This is a short story collection with the stories ranging from ~4 to~30 pages, most being on the shorter side.

The short stories all feature a somewhat macabre twist, a lot of them with a supernatural element. Even though they're so short, they all feel nicely finished and didn't leave me with any lingering doubts or (unintended) open ends.

Language: There are some uncommon Kanji used. I also found a lot of new (to me) words and phrases, but the grammar/sentence structure is uncomplicated. There's little furigana and it feels very much written for adults rather than children or teenagers.
