Graded readers level 0 are a waste of time
This was my first japanese material that i´ve ever read! It´s also the reason why i hate graded readers level 0 with a passion.
You see, this thing is about different flowers and their colors. Now, the topic at hand isn´t exactly high art but that isn´t the problem. It´s the simplicity of the "sentences" paired with specialized vocabulary. It pretty much always follows the same pattern of "This is X", "And this ... is Y!". The big issue with this is that, if you don´t already know X or Y - you can´t read ANYTHING. Each sentence is pretty much a single word with some introductory grammar garnish. You might as well just "read" a dictionary, which would sadly but probably help your language learning more than this kind of graded reader.
There were a few pretty pictures, though.
So yeah, in my view there is no point in engaging with graded readers level 0 (higher levels are fine).
