Amazing story, great characters
The story is brilliant. It’s dark, twisting, full of mystery, and with really likeable characters.
The language was harder than I was expecting (I’m lower intermediate). I looked up quite a lot of vocab, especially when certain characters were talking, and had to check my understanding against the English translation a bit.
The furigana generally make looking up easy. It quite often uses the device where there the furigana are not the reading of the kanji, but a different word with an overlapping meaning. You soon get used to this.
The characters are brilliant. I really enjoyed the anime and the manga brings a different dimension.
