In this volume we learn more about Inuyasha's family, and there's plenty of action involved, too. There's a nice balance between the "villain of the week" episodes and the overarching plot, and the story moves quickly while providing enough information about the characters to make it interesting.
As with the first volume, there's scattered 한자 throughout, as well as the same print issues which make some parts more difficult to read.
