There is a wide range of works in this volume. It includes two re-tellings of tradition Japanese folktales: 浦島太郎 and 鶴の恩返し; a story about an old man claiming to be Superman, trying to return to Krypton; a story about a divorced sex-worker waiting at the airport for a client; and the first hundred pages of a novel about youth in revolt in Japan (希望の国のエクソダス.) I enjoyed the stories but in general the writing was too difficult for me, particularly the novel. Too many unknown words per page.
