Another classic, it felt like this one does show its age a bit. Concerning a man traveling to the titular snow country and visiting a local geisha. A lot of loose, air-headed dialogue that reminded me of the type of thing you'd hear in some older movies. As in it was very much a woman written from the perspective of a man, if you know what i mean. That being said, it does evoke that cold winter scenery, and extracting the after all fairly complex and interesting relationships between the characters from that dialogue did feel rewarding. Striking ending, too.
