This was your run-of-the-mill Korean office romance story, where the female lead is a regular employee and the male lead is her amazing, perfect, chaebol boss. If you’re a fan of romance K-dramas or webtoons, particularly ones like A Business Proposal, then you would probably enjoy this. It wasn't too difficult, except for a few passages explaining their company history at the very start of the book. The point of view would also change back and forth between characters without notice, which may present some challenges when reading. Overall, it was decent read and a good learning experience and is something I’d recommend if you’re looking for an engaging romance binge-read. However, the sudden introduction of typical K-drama style tension between the main characters felt extremely forced and unnecessary, making me hesitant to continue on to volume 2. So, I’ll give it 3 stars in total.
