My friend recommended me this series, but it doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. The characters seem likeable, though to be honest, to me they all look a bit like Haikyuu in a band AU setting. The first few episodes were a bit slow for me. On the other hand, I liked the slightly mellow atmosphere, and the build up of the story which was pretty emotional.
All in all however I couldn't get warm with the characters, while I do see their charms and such.
The language is pretty much what you would expect from primarily male cast in high school/college age, there's a ton of male casual speech. For me that's not particular interesting or useful, but if you consume media with a similar cast there's a lot of typical informal speech patterns and phrases that might be helpful to know.
