A very typical fake dating scenario with some lighthearted fluff.
Mashiro works as a counselor in his mother's marriage counseling firm. His mother is pressuring him to get married and promises him a promotion for a new branch, but also it makes him feel insincere giving marriage advice to his clients when he's single himself. So, on a whim, he declares his relationship his co-worker Kaede, who coincidentally happens to be present.
The whole premise is a bit random and "just for the plot", but I still liked it for what it is. Mashiro is diligent and hard-working, and his weird thinking is pretty adorable. It's a one-shot so everything goes on pretty straightforward and as expected of the fake dating trope.
