This manga has a mysterious air / sci fi twist, yet it’s very daily life/ easy to read. I like the art style - it feels grounded in reality yet has a slight flowy/whimsical air that suits the mood of the story well.
It's hard to write a synopsis without spoiling anything. The mystery unfolds bit by bit. I love the subtly of the developments of the story and characters. I thought the series really started to shine from volume 2.
In addition to an interesting story, I like the daily life insights! Since we’re following Subaru around his everyday, the normal background scenes around the home and town give a glimpse into normal Japanese life.
There isn't much furigana, but it doesn't use complex vocab or kanji. Names and places always have furigana which is nice.
