A stand-alone very cute story about a shy Hamster named Hamtaro, who reads a book about his great-grandfather (also called Hamtaro)'s adventures trying to find a Sunflower.
The vocabulary is quite simple, and in general, the grammar isn't that hard. My N5 group worked hard but where able to comprehend so I would definitely recommend it for beginners!
Sometimes the hamsters speak a little 'hamstery' such as ending sentences with でちゅ rather thanです.
If you have trouble with it, you can read along by searching "Hamtaro's Big Adventure Manga Discussion" on youtube.
