I came here from the anime, so I skipped vol 1-2, but just wanted to mention that if you're into things like pining, slow burn, unrequited love, etc, this is a great choice. The main characters are extremely well developed, and it's really enjoyable. There are some parts later on where it feels a bit dragged out/unrealistic, and very late in the story the author adds in a few too many extra characters - but even then I enjoyed it enough to read the whole series in one sitting! It follows the standard school rhythms, but doesn't get overly bogged down in them, and the main cast are excellent!
