I was totally hooked by this book and couldn't put it down. If you're able to suspend your disbelief greatly lol, it's a fun read. I recommend it to language learners because it's pretty short, with most of the story actually being told through dialogue between characters. I would say the downsides are that there are a lot of kanji names without furigana and it was hard for me to keep them straight but that might just be me.
