やめて, やめて, もうやめて🕺🏻
I started this anime without knowing what it was about, just that it was popular and a comedy/horror series (?), so I was kinda surprised by the amount of fanservice in the first 3-4 chapters. If that's your thing then fine, but personally I was already disgusted by chapter 2. Especially the scene in the infirmary, ugh. Speaking of chapter 2, the cat scene and the post credits scene are wholesome, I loved them.
This anime is really not scary (but can get dark!) and I don't find it particularly funny, I just felt sorry for our poor protagonist, みこ, the whole time. Fortunately, she has her friends ハナ and also ユリア later in the series, who are sometimes the focus of fanservice, but I still find them adorable. ハナ is just a really good friend, and ユリア's delusions are the funniest part of the show for me personally.
The language is easy to understand and the story itself is not too complex. Keep in mind that sometimes there are words related to the occult.
To finish this review, I think 見える子ちゃん is an entertaining and easy to watch anime, and it's also really short! The concept of this series is really interesting and quite sad when you think about it, like some chapters made me sob for our poor みこ and everything she goes through.
