Picked this up mostly because it was free on Kindle Unlimited and I wanted to try getting back into fantasy series. I made it about 200 pages in before dropping it, and I'm typically averse to dropping books. Beware that the title is extremely literal. As far as I read, the main character literally just thoughtlessly crafts tools/weapons and commutes to a nearby city to sell his goods. And that's about it in terms of story. To the point I read, really very little else occurs. Other than that, I mean, the characters didn't seem to have a lot of personality, you'll learn fairly little about them besides the odd blurb here or there. They mostly just... exist.
If your reading speed is fast enough that you can power through 300 pages in a day or two, maybe it might not seem as tedious. Otherwise probably give it a pass.
