A collection of short stories on a rather ambiguous theme of moments in someones life when a person or event invades or otherwise distrupts their sense of normal.
The stories are all standalone but there are some references sprinkled throughout that suggest they take place in the same reality.
Language wise short stories are always a little harder than novels because you lack context, but overall this wasn't too challenging. The stories were all largely taking place in someones daily life and then introducing an event that knocks them off course somehow so a lot of the vocabluarly and settings were familiar.
There was one story in particular which was the most difficult I'd say. Not because of vocab but because the format was like a dream-sequence so inherently didn't make a lot of sense.
Th stories were interesting if hard to get a grasp on since the theme was to me so ambiguous, especially at the start.
I think as a learner at this stage I missed out on a lot of the tone of the writing which would make it particularly interesting for a fluent reader, this genre is probably worth investing time into once you have a strong grasp of the language.
