針子の乙女 is an isekai LN series about a young girl born into a noble house of seamstresses and seamsters, endowed with a magical thread-producing spider and the ability to see spirits. Other than fantasy, it seems to dip into the comedy genre a bit.
The descriptions are fairly pretty, given the basic, LN-ish prose, but the story felt a little disjointed as far as pacing went. Some people might like all the extra information there is, but I felt like scenes were often interrupted by it. The plot is very fast-paced, though, so I could never call it boring. There are lots of scenes about clothes, which are very much a matter of taste (I enjoyed them).
Language-wise, it's a pretty standard-seeming light novel. Simple grammar, short sentences and paragraphs, common LN/fantasy vocabulary. There's not that much sewing-specific vocabulary or anything, and a decent amount of furigana. There were a few slightly less common words and spellings, though.
The book is clearly meant to be read as part of a series and continues on to the next book, but the plot was satisfying for a single volume. Finally, I found the constant lolicon jokes really off-putting.
Edit: I did not like the second volume, and do not recommend this series. Non-spoiler review: https://learnnatively.com/review/57bcdf4b9e/
