It's an original manga by Miyazaki, what else do you need to know?

It is pretty hard though. Even aside from the difficult language used, there's a lot of characters and people groups to keep track of. Also, it's full-page (almost A4) size, so each page has more content than an average tankobon manga page. My pages-per-hour reading this series was less than half of my average manga pace, but it's worth the time investment.
