A poignant and touching short that is surprisingly readable at lower levels. Language used is mostly at the elementary or junior high level, with the most difficult parts being later news reports and similar in-universe documents (websites, comments etc) which don't need to be read thoroughly to get the gist. As with a lot of Fujimoto's work, much of the storytelling is purely visual and he absolutely excels at it - meaning that it's easier than you might think to read an Eisner-nominated manga!
