This volume is basically all plot development surrounding Erika's cult involvement and Hiyakawa's past. There is quite a bit of divergence from the plot I saw in the movie at this point. Good deal of dialogue from Hanzawa. Despite watching a ton of crime shows I still feel like I understand only half of what male detectives say and they slur their words together even in writing. Oh well. Good practice, I guess.
