The story is very cute and sometimes heart warming but meant for 1st to 2nd graders so the story is bland. In this case it was about クーク birthday and his adventures with his friends. There wasn't a lot of kanji so it was a bit difficult to understand. It was great practice for starting to read non picture books (like manga)!!
