Volume 2 is just as fun as the first with a satisfying ending. Since the main Jashin-Chan series is more of an episodic sitcom, it was fun to see Yukio tackle something with a more defined story arc and it sticks the landing well. The revelations in this volume make it a bit harder for the Daichi in this series to be the same one from Jashin-chan, but there are still some connections. When the god girls go to the human realm, we see the three simps who often show up to Poporon's concerts, and there are some background characters who look like Pino and Persephone 2 in the god realm. Whether these are just fun easter eggs or a deeper connection between the two stories isn't really laid bare, but it would be fun to see a proper crossover, especially if Hades had to interact with Lierre, or Poseidon got into hijinks with Mei.

Linguistically there weren't any big complications that made this any easier or harder than volume one, though there is a brief gag about the girls slipping into an Osaka-ben diaclect when they're said that caught me a bit off guard. It was pretty much the perfect input for my level, mostly readable but with some fresh vocab every few pages.
