Cool ideas; poor execution
Basic premise: Small town has a serial killer on this loose with mysterious powers, it's up to our wacky bunch of teenagers to catch them.
Compared to the previous parts I really felt that the writing and pacing quality was poor, and I wasn't really able to get attached to any of the characters (unlike part 3). It's still a fun watch, and I'd give it a 3.5 if Natively had that as an option. It was just alright, I guess. Probably would have dropped it if I wasn't interested in Part 5.
Language is easier than the previous parts IMO, but there are some rare words here and there like マザコン and 勃起 that had me confused (don't get the wrong idea about this series from those examples, lol).
If you liked the previous parts I do think it's worth seeing, and for Japanese immersion it's not bad at all. It's just a total 6/10 season that had no reason to be this dragged out. If you're here for a murder mystery then I guess? But it's less of a mystery and more of just... murders happen. Either way, not the worst season, not the best.
