Blushing: The Anime

This is a cute anime about a girl who feels like she has no place on Earth. She has trouble talking to people and basically has no friends. She wishes upon a shooting star to meet an alien and then an alien girl suddenly shows up on earth as a new student at her school.

The whole premise is about them trying to build a rocket ship to get the alien back to her home but it basically just turns into a cute girls doing cute things type anime with the theme of them being in a rocket ship building club.

The MC in this show is very shy. Most of the time she stutters any time she talks to anyone and blushes like crazy. She gains some confidence over the course of the show but if the blushing/stuttering thing annoys you, you will not like this show at all.

Personally, I found the show to be very cute and a nice relaxed show. There are a couple of "drama" episodes but its typical of slice of shows. The art style in this is really good too. I love the color palette they used. The music is really nice as well. One of the few shows where I always watched the OP/ED.

The show has random spikes when it comes to language. Most of the time its pretty straight forward but there are some episodes where they go heavy talking about building rocket ships and all of the components, how they work etc. That part was harder to follow along with but there's visuals to go along with it so you won't get super lost.

I've seen the manga advertised as yuri in various places but if it is yuri, it must be in later chapters that weren't adapted here. If you're looking for any type of romance you won't find it here. It was very friendship heavy though. I still highly rec it to anyone that wants a cute slice of life show. I had a lot of fun with every episode.
