Fun story with a creative hook. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. Language is definitely challenging - aristocratic and fantasy/magic sorta stuff, but also I found the grammar, identifying the speaker, etc, required close reading. Reminds me of a bit of 赤髪の白雪姫 L26, in that respect.
